TITLE: “WORK QUICKLY!”
INSPIRATION: Work on your Kingdom Assignment now and do it quickly; night is near!
John 9:4 “We must quickly carry out the tasks assigned us by the one who sent us. The night is coming, and then no one can work.”
Everyone has an assignment here on earth; many have found their assignment. However, there’s a struggle between the assignment and the many distractions the world brings. It is very easy to lose focus on God’s Purpose for us on earth; it is also easy to do it slothfully unintentionally. Jesus Christ already knew all of these struggle, that’s why He advised us ahead of time to be conscious of time when we are serving in the Lord’s Will; for a time will come when you no longer have capacity to and it will be too late to move!
Jesus Christ’s ministry took about three years to complete all He needed to achieve here on earth. Imagine if He was slothful at responding to His assignment and did it for 10 years. With all the rejection, opposition, temptations, tests that He faced in these three years, would it have been easier in 10 years. Would He have even fulfilled His purpose in these 10 years?
John 11:9 says "Are there not twelve hours of daylight? If anyone walks in the daytime, he will not stumble, because he sees by the light of this world”. Time waits for no one; the end-time prophecies by John in Revelations are being fulfilled right now. It is easier to complete your assignment now through the light and Grace that Jesus Christ brings to world. When rapture happens, Grace ends! And it would be extremely difficult to live not less work on any assignment. There is no time to procrastinate your assignment from the Lord; you may never get the chance to finish it. Do what you have to do now and do it quickly! Don’t wait no more!
