TITLE: “Don’t DESPISE Your Location!!
INSPIRATION: God plants us in places where we would prosper in purpose. Don’t hate it but take advantage.
Isaiah 58:11 The LORD will guide you continually and satisfy your desire in scorched places, make your bones strong; and you shall be like a watered garden, like a spring of water, whose waters do not fail.”
The Lord God Almighty gives DIVINE PROSPERITY to those who would follow Him anywhere He plants them. Many believe that until they get to “Lagos”, “The Island”, “The UK“, America”, “California”, “Germany” etc, they cannot prosper. I tell you, It doesn’t matter what the environment looks like, the Great God can give you an idea for prosperity and bless the land for your sake! The land may be dry but God will prosper you abundantly in it!
When God called Abraham to leave his comfort zone and go to a land He knew nothing about, a place that seemed like a land of rocks where nothing could ever grow. However, he did, Genesis 13:2 says “Abram was very rich in livestock, silver, and gold”. Hebrews 11:8 records that it was by Faith, Abraham obeyed God to receive an inheritance from God in a location where he never knew prosperity could come. In Genesis 13, when Abraham and Lot agreed to separate, Lot was told to choose anywhere he wanted to settle, Lot saw a location that flourished abundantly and chose it; he left Abraham with a land that looked dry and hopeless. We know the end, Abraham prospered in every way, but the land Lot chose was destroyed, corrupted his daughters, he lost his wife and all His properties in the destruction. SMH… There was severe famine in the land, and Isaac felt the best place to go was Egypt (the most powerful country at that time). In Genesis 26:2-6, God told him not to go, that He would bless him abundantly even in the famine. The testimony came in Genesis 26:12-13 days “When Isaac planted his crops that year, he harvested a hundred times more grain than he planted, for the LORD blessed him. He became a very rich man, and his wealth continued to grow”!!
We see now that God has a location for you to meet with DIVINE DESTINY so that you prosper in His will. If you are not divinely located, you can’t meet destiny. We see from the examples above that it is not by sight but by what sayest the Lord! If Abraham did not put on FAITH and walk with God, He would never have gotten an inheritance for his generations to come! In clear terms, ask God where He wants to locate you and obey; it doesn’t matter what it looks like, how under-developed it is, how noisy or clumsy it looks, God needs you there and He will let DIVINE destiny and prosperity find you there! Obey and be wise!
