Hello! Good Morning! Thank you for studying Inspiration Daily today! God bless you!
TITLE: “Be Resourceful”
INSPIRATION: Everything around you is for a purpose; be creative and use it to the fullest!
Proverbs 12:27 NLT “Lazy people don’t even cook the game they catch, but the diligent make use of everything they find.”
The beginning part of today’s passage seems more like a man who has excuses for not executing his initial plans because He doesn’t have everything he desires (not need) to execute the plans and he’s too lazy to be resourceful. To be resourceful is likened to being creative, imaginative, to be inventive. Now you can imagine how resourceful and creative God is; He created the plants to take in carbon dioxide that man emits as a waste product and then its own waste product, oxygen, is what keeps man alive! Glory! And the bible says “We are created in God’s image”; it means that we are created naturally to be resourceful; we have already been given this ability.
You may not have everything you desire to start your plans, remember that God has given you the ability to be creative and start with what you have. Zechariah 4:10a “Do not despise these small beginnings, for the LORD rejoices to see work begin”. Remember when God first created the animals, they were only created male and female, even when man was created male and female. And now, the world can’t even count the number of animals and human beings on earth. Everything God created in the beginning gave birth to all that you see today. You can also imagine how resourceful man has become.
As far as you have gotten the divine direction from God, I tell you, you have everything you need to start. Look around you, the opportunities God has exposed you to, the people He has connected to you, the resources He has planted around you through possessions, abilities, strengths, family, friends, colleagues, neighbour’s, technology, your gadgets, even your mobile devices, they are with you for a useful purpose. Remember, God had to start from an empty and formless earth; you too will start from somewhere and it may not be all you desired. Proverbs 13:11b says “wealth from hard work grows over time”. Be Resourceful! If not, it will be taken away from you!

Matthew 25:29 “To those who use well what they are given, even more will be given, and they will have abundance. But from those who do nothing, even what little they have will be taken away”
Have a lovely day!
