TITLE: “WORRY LESS”
INSPIRATION: It’s time to stop contemplating and let God do His part, what only He can do!
Mark 16:3-4 “and they asked each other, “Who will roll the stone away from the entrance of the tomb?” But when they looked up, they saw that the stone, which was very large, had been rolled away”
Three women, set out early in the morning with one purpose, to anoint Jesus’ body. They did their part by getting the spices they needed and setting out to achieve this purpose. On their way, the women realized that they couldn’t roll the stone on the Jesus’s tomb by themselves. Also, they had set out very early; there may be no one around to help! The passage today calls the stone VERY LARGE! Serious issue! I tell you, without rolling away that large stone, there would be no achieving purpose that morning!
But when they got to the tomb, that large stone that they worried about on their way, was already sorted by an angel of God! God had taken care of all of their worries even before they got there, even though they fled from the scene… lol! But, the main issue they had, was already sorted! Now, if they had known that an angel would open the tomb, would they have worried about it?
One powerful trait of Apostle Paul is how much He trusted God in purpose without worrying, no matter how rough the road seemed, he just knew that God would play His part. The significant truth is that, there are some things we can never do by ourselves, only God can do it. Another truth is that, there are many times we have worried about God’s part and tried to do it. Whew! You know how much we’d save ourselves if we worried less and let God take His place? How many parents would like their little children worrying about how to pay their own school fees? This is how God feels when you worry about what you can’t do by yourself and trust Him less about doing it. It’s time to let God do His Part! And you, worry less about it!
