TITLE: “The Prince of Peace”
INSPIRATION: Jesus, The Prince of Peace; He has come to give us rest round about!
Acts 10:36 “This is the message of Good News… that there is peace with God through Jesus Christ, who is Lord of all.”
Praise The Lord!!! Jesus Christ is the Prince of Peace, Isaiah 9:6 says “For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counselor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace”. Glory!!!!! I was watching a series on The Bible, it covered parts of the old and new testament. When I was watching the Old Testament part, there was fighting, hitting, killings, kings going to war, I mean, it sounded more like a war movie! Lol! But, when I got to New Testament, Hmmm… the sound track changed, I began to hear music, soft piano playing, there was no more WAR!!! Till the end, it was just Jesus bringing life, miracles, joy, kindness, love, peace to everyone!! It was just an amazing change!
My dear, we are no longer at war! The Prince of Peace has come to bring peace to all and relieve us of all our turmoil, pains and aches. In the midst of a storm, Jesus Christ was asleep on a pillow! If only we could just trust Him and understand that He is with us at all times! He has come to give us the surpassing peace of God! The Peace that passeth all understanding! The Peace that makes you still in the midst of storms knowing that the Prince of Peace is with you and He is Lord over all things!
Apostle Paul, when writing his letters, would greet using these words Grace and PEACE the most! That’s what Jesus has come to give us all! The Peace of God is upon you! It will save you in our world of extortion, corruption, and violence for Philippians 4:7 says “And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus”. Receive it!
