Good Morning!!! Thank you for studying Inspiration Daily today!

TITLE: “Furnace of Affliction!”
INSPIRATION:The Ultimate Test from God every Christian will go through!

Isaiah 48:10 NASB “Behold, I have refined you, but not as silver; I have tested you in the furnace of affliction.

A furnace! Hmm… defined by Wikipedia is a device used for high-temperature heating; now, the furnace God is talking about here is the furnace that refines not the one that bakes. Let’s say the furnace that refines gold! You can imagine how HOTTTT that furnace will be; now God says He will refine you in that High-temperature heating HOTTTT furnace of troubles! Hmm… It is well! Have you gone through any situation like this before; you just don’t understand why everything is not working? Hmmm… That is God refining you… but there’s Good News!

Apostle Paul said in Romans 5:3-5 “We can rejoice, too, when we run into problems and trials, for we know that they help us develop endurance and endurance develops strength of character, and character strengthens our confident hope of salvation and this hope will not lead to disappointment. For we know how dearly God loves us, because he has given us the Holy Spirit to fill our hearts with His love”. Glory!!! Trials and Tests of afflictions are how Christians are examined and promoted; just like sitting for exams is how students are promoted or surpassing your target is how employees are promoted. But remember, that God is still with you. He said in Zechariah 13:9 “…Test them as gold is tested. They will call on My name, And I will answer them; I will say, 'They are My people,' And they will say, 'The LORD is my God”. No matter what test or affliction you go through, you won’t ever be tested beyond what you can bear! God will definitely rescue you and give you rest!

Just be like Apostle Paul who said in 2 Corinthians 12:10 “…for the sake of Christ, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong”. That’s right!! You’d make it through! Nothing must separate you from the Christ not even the FURNACE OF AFFLICTION!

Romans 8:35 “Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or distress or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword?”

Nothing must separate you from Christ!
