TITLE: “The WISE BUILDER”
INSPIRATION: The Layout of a building before its foundation ever begins.
1 Corinthians 3:10-11 “By the grace God has given me, I laid a foundation as a wise builder… for no one can lay a foundation other than the one already laid, which is Jesus Christ.”
Recently, just behind my house, there’s a new building going on. I could watch from my kitchen very closely every step that is taken to build the foundation. It never occurred to me even as an engineering student that the foundation of a building is laid by marking out the plan of the building first on the land it is to be laid. My thought before seeing this was the foundation would be made on the land and then make the plan of the building on it. Seriously??? Then the HolySpirit began to minister to me on the importance of that layout plan before the foundation, aligning the layout plan with the foundation to be laid; aligning God’s plan for us with Jesus Christ, the foundation of a Solid Rock. Imagine laying a foundation on a wrong plan or on no plan at all? Imagine building a house without the slightest idea on what the building should be, and you just keep building? What would be the use of a house with no purpose built on a solid foundation?
Building does not start with laying a foundation; it starts with a plan, a layout, a design and an arrangement. So is your life too; Jesus Christ is the foundation of your life but without aligning your life with the layout and arrangement of your destiny, you may end up on the wrong path. The Good News today is, God’s plans for you have been before you were born, but it is your duty to search it out and walk with it. Proverbs 25:2 “It is the glory of God to conceal a thing: but the honour of kings is to search out a matter”. You are a king amongst men, it is set time to search and begin to build your life like the WISE BUILDER.
Your life starts with aligning to God’s will, plan and purposes for you! There is no solid building without a solid and mastered plan; there is no starting a journey without a destination. Be the WISE BUILDER! Begin to align with Purpose!
