TITLE: “Jesus makes the difference!”
INSPIRATION:Just been with Jesus Christ changed the perception of Peter and John before men.
Acts 4:13 “The members of the council were amazed when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, for they could see that they were ordinary men with no special training in the Scriptures. They also recognized them as men who had been with Jesus”.
Glory!!!! The members of the council consisted of all the rulers, elders and teachers of religious law from Acts 4:5. These men were trained men of the scriptures, they knew the laws and the scriptures back to back, they were trained from young, graduated and became professionals. No one else was like them (in their minds). But here was Peter and John, ordinary men who were only professional fishermen, with no special training, another version calls them uneducated, unschooled; who was speaking the scriptures like they were TRAINED MEN of the scriptures!!!! The council members, who do not agree with Jesus Christ were amazed and humbled by these ordinary men; and strongly concluded with only one fact they perceived, “These men have been with Jesus!” Glory!!!!!!!
Such BOLDNESS of Peter and John can only come when we have been with Christ! Jesus made the difference in their lives, even (the members of the council) men who were blind to the Salvation of Christ, knew that only Jesus could have made such ordinary men become qualified men. For Jesus qualifies the unqualified! Glory!
You don’t need to be perfect or complete before Jesus can receive you. Jesus specializes in calling ordinary people, not qualified, not special or distinctive people but those who are committed and dedicated with a heart of loyalty! When you allow Jesus to be the center of your life, the difference will be clear! Would you let Jesus make the difference in your life today? Would you make Jesus the center of it all in your life today? Jesus makes the difference!!!!!
